Chris Knox improves

Hospitalised Kiwi musician Chris Knox enjoyed his first trip outside on Saturday, two weeks after a serious stroke.

Family spokesman Roy Martyn pushed Knox in his wheelchair for a reasonable distance, according to Martyn's blog.

Knox is improving and staying positive, and is keeping boredom at bay with an iPod, said the blog.
