A hunter with severe stomach pains is in Christchurch Hospital after being airlifted from Arthurs Pass National Park.
The Rescue Co-ordination Centre in Wellington detected the 41-year-old's distress beacon about 10am yesterday and a Christchurch rescue helicopter found him 15km northwest of Lake Sumner about noon.
