Chiropractor jailed for importing drugs

A Wellington chiropractor who headed a drug importing ring has been jailed for five-and-a-half years.

Anthony Close, 30, was sentenced in Wellington District Court today on nine charges of importing the Class B controlled drug GBL, also known as Fantasy, Radio New Zealand reported.

The drugs he imported had a street value of $600,000.
