Chimera was built by Alloy Yachts in Auckland, for a European owner.
Construction began in August 2000 and the 102ft sloop was launched in April 2002.
Chimera has a traditional pilothouse with companionway leading below to the saloon and bar.
Stairs from the saloon lead aft to two twin and one single guest cabins with the owner's suite aft.
This area includes a lounge area and dressing room.
Galley, crew mess and accommodation for four crew are forward.
After cruising the Pacific, Chimera returned to Auckland for the America's Cup and superyacht regatta.
