Another agency has accused the Minister of Maori Affairs, Parekura Horomia, and the Associate Maori Affairs Minister Tariana Turia of meddling in its affairs.
Children's Commissioner Roger McClay says Tariana Turia asked him to remove the Maori child abuse statistics from his report into the death of James Whakaruru.
McClay says at a separate meeting, Parekura Horomia told him he shouldn't even be writing the report, because he was "culturally insensitive."
The two ministers are already under fire for allegedly telling Women's Refuge Chief Executive Merepeka Raukawa-Tait to tone down comments about Maori domestic violence.
