KEY POINTS:
Six children were injured after a collision between a school bus and a 4WD in heavy fog in Taupo today.
Police said the bus, carrying about 20 children, and the 4WD collided at the intersection of State Highway 1 and Poihipi Road shortly after 8am.
The six children, aged 10-14, and the sole occupant of the 4WD were treated for minor injuries at Taupo Hospital and discharged a short time later.
Investigations into the crash were continuing.
