Three people - including a child - were injured in a crash involving a truck and car on State Highway 1 north of Auckland on Friday.
The collision happened at the intersection of Cowan Bay Rd at Pohuehue, south of Warkworth, about 11.50am.
The child, who was taken to Starship Hospital with serious injuries, was in a stable condition on Saturday morning according to an Auckland District Health Board spokeswoman.
Two others were taken to Auckland and North Shore hospitals with serious and moderate injuries respectively.
Police said in a statement that none of their injuries were believed to be life-threatening.
