A boy seriously injured in a bus crash in Southland is progressing well.
A World Way bus was carrying 30 Chinese people, when it slid on black ice and rolled on the Te Anau-Mossburn Highway.
22 passengers were injured in the crash, and were treated at Southland and Dunedin Hospitals.
A nine-year-old boy remains in Dunedin Hospital but a spokeswoman says he is improving well in the children's unit.
Police are investigating the incident.
