A 5-year-old Tauranga girl is fighting for her life after the car her father was driving collided with an oncoming truck on Monday.
The girl was transferred to Starship hospital in a critical condition from Waikato Hospital's intensive care unit yesterday.
The girl's father received moderate injuries in the crash on State Highway 2 at Waitakaruru near Thames.
