A child is one of two people recovering in Dunedin Hospital from serious injuries after a crash near Glenorchy yesterday.
Four other people in the vehicle had minor injuries.
Police earlier said a child and a woman had been knocked unconscious when the car they were in crashed on the Glenorchy-Paradise Rd, about 3km north of the village, at the head of Queenstown's Lake Wakatipu.
Emergency services were called about 3.45pm.
A police spokeswoman this morning confirmed that the woman and child were seriously hurt and had to be flown to Dunedin Hospital.
