KEY POINTS:
Two limited edition versions of the Chevrolet Corvette have been launched to celebrate the American sports car's success on the track.
The 'Victory Edition' celebrates the Corvette's five class wins in the Le Mans 24 hours with the racing-spec C6 R.
This road-going derivative generates 300kW from its 6.0 litre V8 engine and can be fitted with a track-style paddle shift gearbox.
Two colours schemes are available, both reflecting the car's racing heritage, and the limited edition model is marked out by uprated grey alloy wheels and a wide-body rear spoiler.
A second special edition, known as the 'Ron Fellows' special, comes only in white and gets a red racing style stripe, full width spoiler and 10 spoke alloys.
It's named after the Canadian racer, and Le Mans class winner, who has been driving for Chevrolet since 1999, taking 51 sports car race wins in America.
This version is more powerful, with 375kW capable of powering it to 100km/h in just 3.9 seconds and on to a 320km/h top speed.
