Check out KJ's dreamy new Netflix romcom

Netflix has just released the trailer for its upcoming film The Last Summer, starring Kiwi heartthrob KJ Apa.

The film follows a group of friends in Chicago navigating new relationships and coming into adulthood during their final summer before college.

It stars hot teen actors from popular teen movies and TV shows like 13 Reasons Why, Paper Towns, Grown-ish and Riverdale, including Maia Mitchell, Tyler Posey, Jacob Latimore and Sosie Bacon.

KJ also took to Instagram to tease the new film this week, and between that and the trailer, fans are getting pumped.

The Riverdale star posted a cute snap of himself and co-star Maia Mitchell embracing, as if about to kiss, with caption: "Excited for this one."

KJ's fans commented saying they are "ALL excited for this one."

The Last Summer premieres May 3 on Netflix.
