People eligible for lower-cost consultations at primary health organisations can now get prescriptions for $3.
Health Minister Annette King said yesterday that the reduction applied to everyone enrolled in Access-funded organisations, which target high-needs groups, and to young people - aged 6 to 17.
From July 1, everyone 65 and over enrolled at a primary health organisation would be eligible for reduced prescription charges, she said.
