ChCh AMI branches down, but service operational

All Christchurch AMI Insurance branches have been forced to close due to quake damage.

However, chief executive John Balmforth said services were still fully operational and people could contact the company through its call centre on 0800 100 200.

AMI's priority was to help its worst affected customers and he urged people whose homes were uninhabitable to lodge a temporary accommodation claim.
