A luxury homeware line that Charlotte Dawson was working on before she took her life has been launched in Australia with proceeds to go to her favourite charities.
Dawson, 47, was found dead in the living room of her Sydney apartment on February 22.
In the weeks leading up to her death, she had been planning a homeware line with close friend and designer Billy Adams.
Dawson had stayed with Adams at his home in Bali over New Year, and spoke of the trip being a "healing holiday" that signified a fresh start in her troubled life.
The pair had designed a range of handmade cushions and coasters together and planned to branch out to other items in the future.
However, Dawson's sudden death stalled the project.
This week, Jai Evans, a friend of Dawson's who was handling the marketing and publicity for the brand Charlotte Dawson Home, said the line was finished and now on sale.
The line includes a range of handmade Balinese canvas cushions and coasters printed with "elegant old world-style images of palm trees, elephants, ships and toucans".
Mr Evans said Dawson "fell in love" with Mr Adams' cushion designs while staying at his Bali villa.
"I'm absolutely obsessed with these. I'm taking them back to Australia with me, I've got an idea," she told Mr Adams at the time.
"Charlotte continued to style the cushions around Billy's Seminyak villa, taking snaps to post on social media channels including Instagram," Mr Evans said.
"The pair collaborated, and the line Charlotte Dawson Home was born. She was so passionate about the cushions that they became her main focus, the warming designs having caught her keen eye for style, beauty and fun."
Mr Evans said the current line included seven different styles of cushions, with colourful designs printed on to white canvas.
Dawson's sisters Vicky Dawson and Robin Barclay supported the line.
Mr Evans said he and they both wanted to continue the former model and television host's legacy and support the charities she dedicated much of her personal time to.
"Charlotte is still with us, she was always there for others, and this is a great opportunity to give back."Vicky Dawson said she and Mrs Barclay were delighted to be associated with the range.
"This is a wonderful way to make sure that something positive will come out of Charlotte's passing."
Proceeds will be donated to Australian charities, including Lifeline, Community Brave, which aims to eradicate online bullying, homophobia, transphobia and youth suicide, anti-bullying group Angels Goals, and the Smile Foundation, which works to improve the quality of the life of children with a rare disease or condition.
