A house built for charity will be moved to Carterton today and after a bit of a touch-up it will be ready to be sold.
Students on the Wairarapa UCOL 2012 pre-trade construction programme built the two-bedroom home last year at their Masterton campus.
The house was due to be moved from Masterton to a section in Carterton early today..
The Upper Hutt-based Dugdale Charitable Trust has purchased the house and the land, and once sold the proceeds will go to the Asthma Foundation New Zealand and Lifeflight Trust.
Chris Dugdale, of Dugdale Charitable Trust, said the house would be put on piles this week. Landscaping of the property would be completed in the next few weeks.
