"Part of the purpose of the house was to give the students a real hands on experience and they've done a great job," she said.
"It's absolutely top quality."
She said a project like this enabled everybody in the community to contribute.
"The idea is that lots of people give the bit they can give and it all adds up to a really worthwhile amount that can be donated to the charity."
Mrs Dugdale said the market would dictate what the house was sold for.
This is not the first charitable build the trust has been involved in, and she hopes it won't be the last.
She thanked Mitre 10 Mega for their contribution to the project, along with other local businesses and volunteers.
