A young Rotorua carpenter with construction company JaCon in Wexford, Ireland, is organising crews of volunteer tradesmen to build houses in Brazilian slums.
James Armitage, 25, is looking at holding a raffle in Brazil with the winner able to get 10 tradesmen to help build a house.
"If this project is a success, then I'll run an even bigger one next year," he said.
