Charges over Christchurch gang boss murder

Two people formerly charged with assaulting former gang boss Ricky "Boof" Burnard in Linwood, Christchurch, have been charged with his murder.

Kylie Diane Southon, 35, and Anthony Kevin Peters, 31, will face the murder charges in Christchurch District Court today.

The body of Mr Burnard, a former president of the Timaru Road Knights, was found in a Stanmore Rd property after a shooting early on April 27.
