A man who allegedly pulled a knife on a group of Hamilton high school students is likely to face charges.
The incident happened at Fairfield College about 11am yesterday and followed an altercation between students.
Hamilton Senior Sergeant Greg Dunn said it appeared a student who had felt threatened while at school, had run home to his brother, who had allegedly returned with a knife.
"From there the boy's brother and a woman had driven back to the college and the boy's older brother has gotten out of the car to confront students about his brother's plight," he told the Waikato Times.
A 26-year-old man is likely to face charges as a result of the incident.
