KEY POINTS:
One of the last official links with the 1941 West Coast mass murderer Stanley Graham was severed this week with the death of William Roughan, 94, in Whangarei.
Mr Roughan was one of the police party that tracked Graham, who killed seven people, during a 13-day manhunt.
