Did you see the Geminids?

New Zealanders have a chance to glimpse a large meteor shower overnight - the Geminids.
The shower is expected to peak early tomorrow morning from between 1am and 2am until dawn, according to the Royal Astronomical Society of New Zealand (RASNZ).
The Geminids have a peak hourly rate of around 80 meteors, but as the radius in New Zealand is low, we miss out on seeing half the metors.
But you can still expect to see around 12 meteors an hour, according to RASNZ, and they are likely to leave good trains.
