Ceremonies cap years of study

Years of swotting paid off this week for hundreds of graduating students.

Yesterday, just over 800 Auckland University of Technology students paraded up Queen St cheered on by family and friends.

The faculty of design and creative technologies students finished days of graduation ceremonies for AUT.

Art and design, computing and mathematics, engineering and communication studies graduates were capped at the Civic Theatre.

The biggest degrees yesterday were the bachelor of design and bachelor of communication studies.

Earlier this week, students from the faculties of applied humanities, health and environmental sciences and Te Ara Poutama also graduated.
