Census aims to track down Kiwis abroad

An online census has been launched to track down an estimated one million Kiwis living abroad.

Kiwi Expat Association chief executive Ross McConnell says the census, called Every One Counts, aims to rein in all Kiwis living overseas.

He said the benefits of engaging expats had been widely discussed but little was known about them.
