Henley Men's Shed's "multi-media lounge" and other extensions are on track thanks to a final funding from the Masterton South Rotary Club.
Their presentation of $10,000 completes the $87,000 required to fund the Men's Shed extensions.
The multi-media lounge will provide a quiet space for meetings, health and other tutorials, plus freeing up the kitchen area for cooking lessons and for morning tea and lunch breaks for the men.
Handing over the $10,000 cheque to Henley Men's Shed chairman Murray Campbell, Masterton South Rotary chairman Paul Greenlees paid tribute to the organisation, which he said has benefited more than 60 local schools and community groups during the five years it has been in existence.
He said the board bearing 120 name tags at the door was "pretty awesome".
