A driver who crashed a stolen car into a suburban house was among several people caught up in car crashes and police pursuits overnight.
A car reportedly crashed into a Great South Rd, Mt Wellington house after fleeing from police last night. There were also crashes and pursuits in West Auckland, Mt Roskill and South Auckland.
Inspector Ian Brooker told the Auckland Now website a driver sped off when police approached the car at about 8.30pm in Mt Wellington.
The car then crashed into a Great South Rd house.
Two people were arrested after that incident, Mr Brooker told Auckland Now.
