Road users in a west Auckland suburb may have had a narrow escape this morning after a car and a truck collided, causing a bus to swerve onto the pavement.
The crash took place shortly after 9am at the intersection of Swanson Rd and Ranui Station Rd, Inspector Shawn Rutene of the police northern communications centre said.
It appeared a car had hit a truck, causing a bus to swerve to avoid the crash and mount the kerb.
Four people were injured in the crash, Ptrece Gosney-Payne from the ambulance northern communications centre said.
They suffered a range of minor to moderate injuries, and were taken to Waitakere Hospital, she said.
