A driver had his legs trapped in the door of his car after the handbrake failed on a steep driveway in Auckland yesterday.
The 56-year-old had parked his Mazda outside his Glenfield Rd home just before 6pm.
Birkenhead Fire Station officer Shane Doughty said the car rolled into a fence and pinned the man's legs between the car door and a wooden post.
"We cut the fence away from the car. He was taken away by ambulance with cuts to his legs," Doughty said.
