KEY POINTS:
Two people were injured when the car they were in crashed off the side of Mt Victoria in Devonport last night.
Inspector Ian Brooker, from the Police Northern Communications Centre, said at least one of the two occupants was thrown out of the car as it rolled down the mountain.
A St John spokeswoman said one of the people was taken to Auckland City Hospital with moderate injuries. The other had serious injuries.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating the accident, which happened at 6.50pm.
