Trains in Wellington are running again between Porirua and Plimmerton.
All services were suspended for a period this morning after a car ended up on the tracks.
The NZTA said the vehicle rolled on to the tracks near the Whitford Brown intersection
A police spokeswoman said everyone who was in the car got out safely, with no injuries reported.
The incident happened 300m north of the Whitford Brown intersection.
