A person believed to have been travelling in a car which flipped at low-speed in a quiet, residential Tauranga street has been treated by St John ambulance staff.
Emergency services were called to reports of a car having rolled in Sunny Bay Rd, Matua about 10.50am.
A reporter at the scene said a silver-haired woman could be seen being comforted, as another person was being treated by ambulance staff.
It is understood two cars were involved in the crash, which appeared to have been the result of cars clipping each other.
The reporter said the area was a quiet, resident Matua street, and emergency services were perplexed as to how the car managed to end up on its roof when appearing to have travelled at low speed.
