Emergency services have freed one person after a car flipped onto its roof in Ashhurst, near Palmerston North.
A police spokeswoman said the car crashed onto its roof on Ashhurst Rd just before 5pm.
One person was trapped and was in an unknown condition.
Emergency services freed the trapped person and the incident was "resolved quite quickly", the spokeswoman said.
