A car is on fire on Auckland's Southwestern Motorway.
The NZ Transport Agency tweeted a video of the fire this afternoon, saying the fire was causing delays at the Queenstown Rd off-ramp.
A dramatic video sent in by a Herald reader gives a close up of the blaze near Onehunga.
NZTA said visibility was reduced in the area as a result of the fire.
A Herald reader who was driving past with her husband said: "We just saw smoke from a couple of kilometres down the motorway. It didn't look like a car crash, but a car that had exploded on the side.''
