A car has crashed through a Napier medical centre’s wall but the centre says it was “not in any way deliberate”.
The crash at Carlyle Medical Centre on Carlyle St happened about 8.45am on Wednesday.
A St John ambulance attended but was not needed.
The crash left a hole in the centre’s front wall and broke a window.
A car with frontal damage was towed away shortly after 9am.
The medical centre said the crash was accidental.
“This was not in any way deliberate and we are very thankful that no one was injured.
“This is obviously a difficult situation and we appreciate the understanding, support and kindness being shown towards everyone involved.
“Our clinic appointments are unaffected and we look forward to welcoming our patients as usual.”
Parker will give his final speech in the House next month.
