Residents of a south Auckland street have been advised to stay indoors after a car crashed into a house and ruptured a gas main this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on Ballycullanie Place, Dannemora, about 9.45am, a fire service spokesman said.
One person was injured, possibly as a result of a pre-existing medical condition.
A gas main was ruptured in the crash and neighbours had been advised to stay indoors until the gas could be switched off.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were in attendance.
