A car has crashed into the front of Specsavers, shattering a shop window.
Emergency services were called to the single car crash on Eruera St, Rotorua, just after 12.30pm.
Acting Sergeant Regan Framp said two women were in the car as they pulled into a park, but the driver put her foot on the accelerator instead of the brake, launching them towards the store window.
There was no one on the footpath at the time and the two women came away with no injuries.
Store owner Jason Langdon said he was sitting in his office when he heard a loud bang.
