A car has crashed into a bus-stop on the corner of Albert Street and Wyndham Street in Auckland's CBD this morning.
An eye witness reports seeing the driver, who he believes was a Caucasian in a blue jacket, run from the scene on foot.
The car, a grey sedan, collided with the bus-stop in front of the NZME buildings on Albert Street shortly after ten this morning.
A police spokesman confirms the accident happened this morning, but is unable to provide any more detail at this stage.
