Rotorua police have released the name of an Auckland man killed in a head on car crash on State Highway 30.
Graham Paul Hyndman of Onehunga died when a car and van collided around 7.30 yesterday morning south of Rotorua.
Andrew Lynch of the Rotorua police says both drivers were trapped in their vehicles until emergency services arrived at the scene.
The other driver was flown to Waikato hospital with serious injuries.
