KEY POINTS:
An estimated 15,000 Christchurch Telstra customers are without cable TV and internet services.
In the early hours of this morning a car crashed into a pole on the corner of Barrington and Wychbury streets in Spreydon.
The pole carried Telstra cables.
Telstra expects it will be another 12 hours before the services returns. This is bad news for Crusaders fans with their team playing the Chiefs in Hamilton.
