Two people were injured when a Mazda car crashed into a power pole in the Tararua district on Friday.
Pahiatua police Senior Constable Peter Knight said the car was heading north toward Woodville when it crashed near Taylors Rd on State Highway 2.
Mr Knight said two people in the car received very minor injuries.
The car was extensively damaged.
"We're still looking into the circumstances behind it," he said.
