Two occupants of a stolen vehicle who led police on a pursuit through west Auckland this morning will be making a court appearance later today.
Police said a stolen vehicle was pursued through the streets of Henderson at about 10.00am today.
"Ground units were abandoned early in the pursuit and the police helicopter continued to provide commentary", said police.
The vehicle had blown a rear tire and the offending driver allegedly continued to drive until finally cornered twenty minutes later in a no exit street.
The two occupants were apprehended and will appear in the Henderson District Court on a variety of charges.
