A crash occurred yesterday at the pedestrian crossing outside Faulknors Mobil Service Station on Queen St North in Masterton.
The driver of a southbound car apparently rear-ended a small truck, which had stopped for a pedestrian on the crossing.
The car, which was extensively damaged, had to be towed away after the collision. Nobody was injured.
Earlier this year, a 73-year-old pedestrian was injured when a car failed to stop at the crossing.
