Former Christian Heritage Party leader and convicted paedophile, Graham Capill, has had his parole hearing delayed for a month while the Parole Board waits for a psychologist's report.
Capill was convicted for multiple sex offences against young girls in 2005 and sentenced to nine years imprisonment.
Capill was refused early parole last year, with the Parole Board unconvinced he was not a still risk to the community.
His statutory release date is June 27 2014.
Parole Board spokeswoman Rachel Riley said the board had received two psychological assessments - from the Corrections Department and an independent one commissioned by Capill.
"To ensure the board has the fullest information to support its decision-making, the board has asked the Department of Corrections' psychologist to comment on some aspects of the assessment completed by Mr Capill's psychologist," she told The Press.
