It might look like plenty of colour in the photos, but the Cancer Society is still in need of more daffodils to fulfil their fundraising orders.
Volunteers were hard at work yesterday bunching daffodils at the old Tool Shed premises on Dixon St in Masterton, in preparation for Daffodil Day this Friday.
Cancer Society Wairarapa manager Jeanine Gribbin said they have been "really really pleased" with the response from the public for spare daffodils, following a story in the Wairarapa Times-Age on Saturday.
But more are needed.
"We've got a lot of orders - we have 1200 bunches to deliver.
