Camilla's NZ penpal invited to royal wedding

A Greymouth woman who has been a penpal of Camilla Parker Bowles for years has been invited to post-wedding celebrations for Prince Charles and his bride next month.

The 73-year-old, who wants her identity concealed because she fears burglars might target her home while she is overseas, has never met the couple but received a Christmas card from them last year.

She has been invited to the blessing in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle after the civil ceremony on April 8, and the reception to be attended by 800 guests.
