KEY POINTS:
A security camera has captured images of a man who removed his balaclava while working up a sweat trying to hack into a Queenstown safe.
Police said the man, armed with an angle grinder, entered the building early this morning through the roof of an adjoining premises.
"When he became too hot, he removed his balaclava. After eventually having no luck he has a good look around before packing up and leaving - and looks right past the hidden security camera in the process."

Police said a witness noticed two males leaving the area following the break-in - between 5am and 6am yesterday.
