Call for new conservation laws

Tough new conservation laws are needed to protect almost 2800 New Zealand species on the brink of extinction, a Massey University scientist says.

The white heron, Bryde's whale and New Zealand falcon are among species that could disappear, according to Mark Seabrook-Davison.
