Call for medicine labels

A new parents group is calling for cough and cold medicines to be "fully labelled" after British authorities launched an investigation into 69 over-the-counter products linked to dozens of deaths and thousands of adverse reactions in young children.

Safe Food co-convener Alison White said yesterday that medicine for children should be fully labelled with all ingredients to let parents make an informed choice.
