Call for Christians to pray for miners

New Zealand Christian Network is calling on Christians around the country to pray for the safe rescue of the miners trapped in the Pike River coal mine.

The national director Glyn Carpenter urged Christians to pray for the safe rescue of the miners, comfort and strength for the families, and guidance for those involved in the rescue.
