Cairns to become education ambassador

Former Black Cap Chris Cairns is to become New Zealand's first international education ambassador, in a move designed to promote the country's schooling opportunities in India.

Education New Zealand, the organisation which aims to attract international students to these shores, said Cairns' "huge mana" in India made him the ideal representative.
