A Cadbury television advertisement has to be played later in the evening after complaints to the Advertising Standards Complaints Board.
Two people complained that the Crunchie Bar ad, depicting an "axe-murderer" chasing a woman into woods, was offensive.
Cadbury said the advertisement was aired only after 6 pm and was intended to depict a ridiculous scene because the man began to dance uncontrollably when the hokey pokey theme music started.
The board agreed the scene was adequately exaggerated and was not making a joke about the safety of women at night, as one complainant claimed.
But it should be shown in PGR or AO timeslots, to ensure children had adult supervision and understood the farce intended.
